RANT: Justin Bieber

Hey guys! It’s rant time! It’s been quite a while since I’ve ranted about anything. I believe my last rant was about Alex Pettyfer playing Christian Grey on the big screen. However, I guess that’s up in the air because there are rumors going around about Ian Somerhalder playing the character of Grey. BUT this post isn’t about any of that! This post is about the kid all these teen girls are swooning over … Justin Bieber.

I am SO over this kid. I am beyond over him. It was cute, when he came out with “Baby”, “Somebody to Love”, “As Long As You Love Me”, etc but now I’m officially annoyed. Why? Because this kid thinks he is the end all be all! His behavior is ridiculous! He swears he’s the best thing since sliced bread. Like chill out dude. You are NOT all that. Granted, he has his share of “bieliebers” and people who have “bieber fever” but still he is not all that. I’m tired of seeing these young girls going bonkers over his cocky behind.

I’m not a hater because his music can be catchy. I have like 2 of his tracks on my iPod. So I’m not saying he’s not talented. What I AM saying is he is a ridiculous, cocky, annoying kid. Like no wonder he has celebs tweeting negative things about him. The list of celebs can go on and on. Some celebs include: Jon Bon Jovi, Olivia Wilde, N’SYNC’s Joey Fatone, David Letterman, Drake Bell, Taylor Swift, and even his on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez has made not so nice remarks about him on The David Letterman show. Taylor Swift doesn’t even want Selena Gomez with him and I don’t blame her. I think Selena Gomez is out of his league. She’s gorgeous and way more talented and mature. Clearly, you can see she sticks her tongue out! Bleh! That’s exactly what I would’ve said. Some people take this as Taylor being jealous of Selena but come on now … if she was jealous, it definitely wouldn’t be because of Bieber. Justin Bieber only cares about himself. What made that most apparent was when he visited the Anne Frank House and wrote “Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.” Like, are you freaking kidding me? He is so full of himself and after that episode … he suffered from HUGE backlash! He just keeps screwing up and eventually it isn’t going to fly.

Phew! I’m glad I’ve got all this off my chest. Thanks for reading my rant and hopefully some of you agree with me! I’m sure some readers will 🙂

Beyonce & Her Diva Demands

Let’s talk diva! Let’s talk Beyonce! Yes, everyone’s favorite woman in the world, not mine but that’s just my opinion. I like Beyonce but I’m not obssessed. She’s talented and beautiful but I think the hype about her is ridiculous. Granted, she is married to Jay Z, she is loaded with money, and her voice is amazing and her body is beautiful but she’s been in the limelight for so long that I’m over the hype.

But! This post is going to be about my opinion. This post is going to be about Beyonce & the interesting/diva demands she has expressed during her tour. Let’s begin with this list …

1. No Junk Food: This is completely understandable. She has to maintain her body, duh!
2. Titanium Drinking Straws: WTF? She wants this to drink “alkaline water” that is exactly 21 degrees. Oh and by the way, these straws cost $600 euros, which is roughly $935 in American dollars. If it’s not 21 degrees, you’re in trouble.
3. 100% Pure Cotton Clothing for her staff: This is supposedly to protect her from allergies.
4. Red Toilet Paper: uhmmmm … maybe this could be useful during a monthly situation … if you know what I mean
5. Freshly Painted White Walls & New Toilet Seat: This is understandable. Building maintenance is important!
6. Hand Carved Ice Balls: Again, wtf? The ice balls MUST be hand carved & MUST come from imported Swiss water.

Sounds to me like she is living up to the title Queen B! Some die hard fans are gonna see this post as me criticizing her but that is not the case. I give her credit when it’s due. Some people will be like “Well she’s Beyonce!” There are plenty celebs who are beautiful, talented, and on her level & I’m sure they haven’t had demands like these. She is a great artist, no doubt about it but I just think her demands are dumb for the exception of 2-3.

OUTRAGED: Alex Pettyfer as Christian Grey

Now before I forget, I had to go on a rant about the outrage I felt last night when I was told that Alex Pettyfer was going to play the role of Christian Grey in the 50 Shades of Grey movie!  I was pissed, simply PISSED! Now first off, the Fifty Shades series was amazing. I read the whole trilogy in 2 weeks. I’m tired of all these uptight women saying it was porn and disrespectful to women. Give me a freaking break. There was no rape or abuse in the book. Yes, there was BDSM (sexual practices involving dominance and submission) in the book but it happened WITH CONSENT so everyone needs to chill the hell out. The book isn’t porn either, there are different themes in the books besides sex. Is there a lot of sex in the book? YES. However, that is not ALL of it! Anyone who read past the first like 10 chapters would know that!

Anyway now on to the movie, Alex Pettyfer is BEYOND WRONG for the part. I have nothing against him, he is a sexy beast! For those of you who don’t know who I’m talking about, he starred in I Am Number 4, Magic Mike, and Beastly. I’ll include a picture in the end. Back to the topic, he is not right for the part! When you look at him, he doesn’t exude Christian Grey AT ALL! Ian Somerhalder is the BEST CHOICE or Matt Bomer. I’m not being biased and saying that only because they are my celeb crushes. I’m saying this because it’s TRUTH! Like anyone who read the series would know they would be PERFECT for the role but Alex Pettyfer?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! My heart shattered when I found this out! Like I wanted to cry. I’m not being dramatic! This movie needs to be epic just like the book! If it’s anything less than that, I’d be HIGHLY disappointed. All my girlfriends are like “OMG I hope it’s just a rumor!!” but with this world, you never know. It’s highly upsetting and unfair.

Love & Hip Hop: Erica Mena

Rant time! I’m a reality tv show junkie! I watch anything that entertains me like Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Love & Hip Hop, Mob Wives, Teen Mom, 16 & Pregnant, Braxton Family Values, Bridezillas, Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, Supernanny, Dance Moms, etc … you get the point, I watch a fair share of them lol…

Anyway! I just watched the Love & Hip Hop finale on VH1 & as usual Erica Mena pisses me the hell off! I’m tired of her! She has some severe anger issues & she needs to pump her brakes. She’s a grown ass woman acting reckless, “ratchet”, & classless. She’s manipulative & a liar & he only defense is she’s been hurt?! I’ve been hurt plenty of times! Granted, everyone has their own experiences & their own journey but that is NO EXCUSE. She is always putting her hands on someone trying to fight, always lying, always stirring the pot, etc. She needs to get it together! She’s a pretty girl. There’s no need to act all crazy. Granted, reality tv is SCRIPTED but I’m CERTAIN she acts that way on a daily basis because come on now … all the articles on her prove it. She’s out of control.

For those of you who are not familiar, just watch one episode & it will be sufficient
